The Tuki Merchant brings you things you never knew you needed.
‘Tuki’, תוכי, in Hebrew, means parrot.
The design thinking behind The Tuki Merchant is based on a jolly pirate (who has a parrot, of course). He hawks his random wares from near and far, providing you with random, but useful things.
I envision The Tuki Merchant arriving in a chinese junk, and my brief to the design team was to incorporate the chinese seal into end design. Within a week, The Tuki Merchant was created, alongside a specially designed word mark.
